Combat Connect (“Combat Connect,” the “Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides discovery, listing, profile, and connection tools for the combat-sports community.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Terms”).
These Terms apply to the Combat Connect website, applications, services, features, and related products operated as part of the Combat Connect platform.
For purposes of these Terms:
“Opportunity” means a listing or opportunity made available through the Platform, including events, competitions, tryouts, seminars, training opportunities, sponsorship opportunities, and other combat-sports-related opportunities or gatherings.
“Opportunity Type” means the category assigned to an Opportunity.
“Organizer” means an individual, gym, promotion, organization, sanctioning body, business, event operator, coach, or other entity that creates, claims, manages, submits, hosts, or is associated with an Opportunity or Organizer page on the Platform.
An Organizer may have a claimed or unclaimed presence on the Platform.
“User” means an individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including to browse, discover, search, save, share, create a profile, or otherwise engage with Opportunities or Platform features.
“Action” means an available step associated with an Opportunity, which may include registering, applying, expressing interest, requesting information, visiting an external website, or another action made available through the Platform.
“You” and “your” may refer to a User, Organizer, or both, depending on context.
Combat Connect is a discovery platform designed to help the combat-sports community discover Opportunities, Organizers, fighters, and other relevant information and to help Organizers make their Opportunities more visible.
The Platform may provide tools that allow Users to browse, search, filter, save, share, create profiles, or take an Action relating to an Opportunity.
Combat Connect may introduce additional Opportunity Types, Actions, tools, directories, profiles, services, and other features as the Platform evolves.
Combat Connect may add, modify, test, limit, suspend, or discontinue Platform features or Opportunity Types at any time.
Unless Combat Connect expressly states otherwise for a particular service, Combat Connect does not host, manage, sanction, supervise, officiate, matchmake, employ, represent, or act as the operator of any Opportunity.
Combat Connect is not a party to an Opportunity merely because that Opportunity, Organizer, User, or related information appears on the Platform.
Organizers are solely responsible for Opportunities they submit, claim, manage, host, operate, or otherwise control.
This includes responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of information they provide; eligibility requirements; rules and format; communications; participant selection; safety and risk management where applicable; licensing; insurance; medical requirements; sanctioning requirements; and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Combat Connect is not responsible for errors, omissions, cancellations, changes, injuries, disputes, misconduct, regulatory violations, or outcomes relating to an Opportunity.
Combat Connect does not assume responsibility for an Opportunity merely because an Organizer claims, manages, advertises, or maintains information concerning that Opportunity through the Platform.
Combat Connect may display factual information concerning Organizers and Opportunities obtained from Organizers, Users, publicly available sources, third-party sources, or Combat Connect’s own research.
Such information may include names, Opportunity details, dates, times, locations, disciplines, categories, websites, registration or ticketing links, publicly available social-media links, and other factual information relevant to discovery.
The presence of information on Combat Connect does not mean that the applicable Organizer submitted, approved, endorsed, sponsored, partnered with, or is affiliated with Combat Connect.
Combat Connect does not guarantee that publicly available, Organizer-submitted, User-submitted, or third-party information is complete, current, or accurate.
Users should independently verify material information with the applicable Organizer or original source before relying on it, traveling, registering, purchasing from a third party, participating, or taking an Action.
Combat Connect may correct, update, supplement, restrict, archive, or remove information when appropriate.
Combat Connect may create or display Organizer pages and Opportunities using factual information obtained from publicly available or other lawful sources before an Organizer has created an account or claimed the applicable page or Opportunity.
An “Unclaimed” designation means that the Organizer page or Opportunity has not yet been claimed and placed under the management of a representative through Combat Connect’s claiming process.
An Unclaimed designation does not mean that Combat Connect has verified, approved, endorsed, sponsored, certified, or partnered with the Organizer or Opportunity.
Eligible Organizers may be provided the ability to claim an Organizer page or Opportunity.
By requesting or completing a claim, you represent that you are the Organizer or are authorized to act on behalf of the Organizer associated with the applicable page or Opportunity.
Combat Connect may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate or administer a claim.
Claiming may provide access to tools for managing, correcting, supplementing, or otherwise controlling certain information displayed through the Platform.
A “Claimed” designation indicates only that the applicable page or Opportunity has completed Combat Connect’s claiming process.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a Claimed designation does not constitute verification, certification, approval, recommendation, or endorsement by Combat Connect of the Organizer’s identity, qualifications, credentials, licensing, safety, legitimacy, services, Opportunities, or information.
Combat Connect may reject, revoke, suspend, transfer, or require additional information regarding a claim when reasonably necessary to protect Platform integrity, resolve competing claims, address suspected impersonation or fraud, correct an error, or comply with applicable law.
Users are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying Opportunities, Organizers, profiles, and other information before relying on information displayed through the Platform or taking an Action.
Combat Connect does not independently guarantee the identity, qualifications, credentials, records, licensing status, medical eligibility, availability, legitimacy, safety, quality, suitability, or readiness of any User, Organizer, Opportunity, or information appearing on the Platform.
Users are responsible for evaluating any physical, financial, contractual, professional, travel, or other risks associated with interacting with an Organizer or participating in an Opportunity.
Combat sports and related activities may involve significant inherent physical risks. Participation is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
Combat Connect is not a sanctioning body, promoter, matchmaker, coach, employer, agent, medical evaluator, safety authority, or regulatory entity.
Information available through Combat Connect is provided for discovery and general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, medical, financial, safety, or other professional advice.
Certain Opportunities may allow Users to take an Action.
An Action may connect a User with an Organizer, transmit information to an Organizer, or direct a User to a third-party website or service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by Combat Connect, Combat Connect is not a party to any resulting communication, negotiation, agreement, transaction, participation decision, selection decision, payment, registration, sponsorship arrangement, or other relationship between a User and an Organizer.
Combat Connect does not guarantee that taking an Action will result in a response, acceptance, registration, selection, participation opportunity, sponsorship, transaction, or any other outcome.
Organizers remain independently responsible for determining eligibility, reviewing information, communicating with Users, and making decisions concerning their Opportunities.
No use of Combat Connect creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, brokerage, representation, or similar relationship between Combat Connect and any User or Organizer.
Combat Connect may allow Users to create profiles containing information they choose to provide.
Depending on available Platform features, profile information may include photographs, combat-sports experience, discipline, weight, height, age or age-related information, stance, competition record, gym affiliation, general location, contact information, availability, social links, or other information voluntarily provided by the User.
Unless expressly identified by Combat Connect as verified, profile information is user-submitted and should not be treated as independently verified by Combat Connect.
Combat Connect does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, currency, eligibility, readiness, qualifications, medical fitness, licensing status, competition history, or other representations contained in a profile.
Users are responsible for keeping information they submit reasonably current and accurate.
Organizers and Users are responsible for conducting any verification, eligibility review, medical review, licensing review, background review, record verification, or other due diligence appropriate to their circumstances.
Users and Organizers may not misuse the Platform.

Combat Connect may investigate reported misuse and may edit, restrict, remove, suspend, or terminate content, listings, Opportunities, claims, or accounts when appropriate, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
Users and Organizers may submit information, photographs, images, descriptions, links, profile information, Opportunity information, and other materials to the Platform.
You are responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authority necessary to submit and display that content through Combat Connect.
You retain any ownership rights you have in content you submit.
By submitting content for display through the Platform, you grant Combat Connect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, promote, and improve the Platform and the applicable listing, profile, Organizer page, or Opportunity, subject to applicable law.
Combat Connect does not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, legality, safety, or reliability of submitted content.
Combat Connect may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law, intellectual-property rights, Platform policies, or the rights of others.
Combat Connect does not guarantee the accuracy, timing, location, availability, eligibility requirements, legitimacy, safety, status, or continued availability of any Opportunity.
Combat Connect does not guarantee the responsiveness, reliability, conduct, qualifications, identity, or availability of any User or Organizer or the outcome of any Action.
Opportunities may be changed, postponed, cancelled, filled, closed, relocated, or otherwise modified without notice to Combat Connect.
Users should independently confirm material information with the applicable Organizer or original source before relying on a listing, traveling, purchasing from a third party, registering, applying, or participating.
Combat Connect currently offers certain discovery, profile, and listing functionality without charge.
Combat Connect may introduce, modify, or discontinue free or paid products, advertising, sponsorships, promotional tools, subscriptions, visibility products, transaction features, or other services.
Any charge imposed directly by Combat Connect will be disclosed before the User or Organizer agrees to purchase the applicable service.
Creating an account, profile, listing, or claim does not by itself create a financial obligation unless expressly disclosed at the time.
Combat Connect may collect information reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, maintain, personalize, and improve the Platform.

Depending on applicable law and jurisdiction, Users and Organizers may have rights concerning their personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other legally available controls.

Combat Connect may take reasonable steps to verify a request before acting on it.
Combat Connect may retain information where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, enforcement, recordkeeping, backup systems, or Platform integrity.
The Combat Connect name, branding, logos, designs, software, Platform interface, and original Platform content are owned by or licensed to Combat Connect and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users and Organizers may upload only content they have the legal right to use.
Combat Connect may remove or restrict content alleged to infringe intellectual-property rights.
Copyright or other intellectual-property complaints may be submitted to:
A complaint should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, the complainant’s contact information, and sufficient information for Combat Connect to evaluate and respond to the request.
Combat Connect may request additional information where reasonably necessary.
Combat Connect may contain links to, integrate with, display information from, or direct Users to services operated by third parties, including registration providers, ticketing platforms, payment processors, social-media services, mapping services, streaming services, Organizer websites, or other external services.
Third-party services are operated independently from Combat Connect.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Combat Connect does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, privacy practices, content, transactions, purchases, refunds, disputes, errors, conduct, representations, or performance.
Use of third-party services is subject to the applicable third party’s own terms, policies, and practices.
Combat Connect is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Combat Connect does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, timely, complete, or error-free operation or that every feature, Opportunity, listing, profile, Organizer page, or Action will remain available.
Features, listings, accounts, content, or services may be changed, restricted, suspended, removed, or discontinued.
Combat Connect is not responsible for losses or damages arising from outages, delays, transmission errors, unavailable features, data-display errors, or other technical issues to the extent permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Combat Connect disclaims warranties, express or implied, concerning the Platform or any User, Organizer, Opportunity, Action, listing, profile, content, information, or third-party service.
Combat Connect does not warrant or guarantee any particular result, response, transaction, selection, attendance, participation, registration, sponsorship, business outcome, connection, or other result from use of the Platform.
Nothing displayed through Combat Connect should be interpreted as a guarantee, certification, endorsement, recommendation, or warranty unless Combat Connect expressly states otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Combat Connect and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for injuries, medical issues, death, losses, damages, disputes, misconduct, cancellations, inaccurate information, omissions, communications, eligibility or participation decisions, matchmaking or selection decisions made by third parties, negotiations, transactions, third-party payments, relationships arising between Users and Organizers, or failures of third-party services arising from or relating to use of the Platform or engagement with an Opportunity or Action.
Combat Connect does not assume responsibility for the acts, omissions, representations, decisions, conduct, services, safety practices, or failures of Users, Organizers, venues, sanctioning bodies, coaches, gyms, promoters, event operators, or other third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Combat Connect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or relating to use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Combat Connect and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and reasonable expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or relating to:
Combat Connect may restrict, suspend, remove, or terminate accounts, profiles, Organizer pages, Opportunities, claims, content, or access to Platform functionality for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud or misuse, impersonation, safety or legal concerns, repeated submission of materially inaccurate information, intellectual-property violations, interference with Platform operation, or other conduct reasonably determined to threaten Combat Connect, its Users, Organizers, or Platform integrity.
Where required by applicable law, additional notice or rights may apply.
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time and may request account deletion subject to applicable legal and retention requirements.
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or use of the Platform will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
To the extent legally enforceable, you and Combat Connect waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
Arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires another location or the parties agree otherwise.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision where applicable.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court where the claim qualifies and applicable law permits it, or from seeking relief that cannot lawfully be subjected to mandatory arbitration.
The enforceability and application of this section are subject to applicable law.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Combat Connect may update these Terms as the Platform, its features, business model, or applicable legal requirements evolve.
When required by applicable law, Combat Connect will provide notice of material changes or obtain additional consent.
The Effective Date displayed at the beginning of these Terms identifies the current version.
Continued use of the Platform after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
